Resurrection Youth Ministry - Welcome to the web page of Youth Ministry at Church of the Resurrection! Our vision is to continue to develop a Ministry that Disciples students and prepares them for their spiritual journey into young adulthood and beyond.
Y2Y (Grades 6-8)): is our middle school ministry. We meet Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00. The night begins with small group studies from 6:00-7:00 and then the entire group gathers for snacks, music, games and fellowship from 7:00-8:00. In Y2Y kids will experience prayer, service activities, social events and a middle school retreat. It is our goal to make faith formation interactive and educational for this age group.
New Horizons (Grades 9-12): is our High School ministry and we meet Sunday nights from 6:00-8:00. There are two theme studies a year, one that covers Catholic Theology and the other that focuses on Youth Culture with faith based discussions and activities . These are some of the activities offered in New Horizons: City Shelter Outreach - Monthly Annual High School Retreat "SEARCH" - December Summer High School Campfire - August Summer Mission Trip: We are a ministry passionate about service so our summer mission trip is dear to our hearts. This week long mission trip takes place in July with registration in October. Students having completed ninth grade up through college, are eligible to attend providing they have met all the requirements.
Youth Ministry Sunday night programs begin in September and run through early May. Registration begins August 1st however, you are welcome to register at any time during the year. We hope you find what you are looking for on your faith journey and if the Youth Ministry offered at Church of the Resurrection can be a part of that journey, please join us! All are welcome at our Resurrection Youth Group regardless of your church affiliation.
